Participating Councils provide city / district wide use of Readynet free to sites and groups. This enables any organisation, business – commercial, industrial, public and private sectors, schools, pre-schools, rest homes, hospitals, Marae and also community groups of all types - sporting, hobby, cultural, Tangata Whenua, health groups, Neighbourhood Support groups etc to connect to Readynet for free! This both encourages community emergency preparedness and therefore resilience on a wide spread scale and allows the Council to communicate with Readynet users about emergency events in their area.
The following Councils provide the Readynet service free throughout their districts.

Registration details required are -
Site or group name, address, contact person name, email and phone number.
Schools can register by subscription through the New Zealand School Trustees Association here.
Where the local Council has adopted Readynet for city-wide use, Schools can register free of charge through their local Council - see list above.
Local Authorities can use Readynet for their emergency planning at their own Council sites e.g. administration buildings, libraries, recreation centres, swimming pools, community halls and buildings, depots etc.
