Schools can register by subscription through the New Zealand School Trustees Association  here.
Where the local Council has adopted Readynet for city-wide use, Schools can register free of charge through their local Council. Check with your Council’s Emergency Management office.

Participating Councils provide city / district wide use of Readynet. This enables any business – commercial, industrial, public and private sectors, schools, pre-schools, rest homes, hospitals and any special interest, community, cultural, support or health groups, Neighbourhood Support groups etc to connect to Readynet for free!This encourages community emergency preparedness and therefore resilience on a wide spread scale.

The following Councils provide the Readynet service free throughout their districts.

Local Authorities can use Readynet for their own Council sites – administration buildings, libraries, recreation centres, swimming pools, community halls and buildings, depots etc. For enquiries contact Local Government Online: gm@localgovt.co.nz

Organisations with either multi buildings on a single site or spread across the country can gain benefits of standardisation of emergency management procedures and information plus the ability to share and audit this information within the organisation.
